Versowood’s wooden bridges are suitable as general bridges and as state-subsidised private road bridges.
The bridges are designed as cross-tensioned bridges in accordance with the Eurocodes. We have pre-designed plans for the wooden deck structure of our type-approved bridges. Ask for more details.
Timber joist bridge for motorised traffic
- the bridge is designed to meet the requirements of usage class 2
- effective widths: (4.0–9.0 m)
- span lengths: (6.0–32 m), with two-metre spacing
- loading: LM1, LM3 / 5 September 2014 and LM1 (Y) / 5 September 2014
- railing: H2 steel railing
- surfacing: mastic asphalt + rubber-modified mastic asphalt or mastic asphalt + hot-mix asphalt concrete
Slab bridge for motorised traffic
- the bridge is designed to meet the requirements of usage class 2
- effective width: Can be made to a desired width, but the width must be ≥ 3.0 m
- span lengths: (6.0–30 m), with two-metre spacing
- loading: LM1, LM3 / 5 September 2014
- railing: H2 steel railing
- surfacing: mastic asphalt + rubber-modified mastic asphalt or mastic asphalt + hot-mix asphalt concrete
Light-traffic bridge
- the bridge is designed to meet the requirements of usage class 2
- meets the bridge classes 3 and 4 for vibration
- effective widths: (3.0–5.0 m), with half-metre spacing
- span lengths: (6.0–38 m), with two-metre spacing
- loading: KL / 5 September 2014
- railing: Wooden railing, impact load 5 kN
- surfacing: mastic asphalt + rubber-modified mastic asphalt or mastic asphalt + hot-mix asphalt concrete
